PHIL TIME #3: WHY IS WORK 'WORK' AND LIFE 'LIFE'?

GREETINGS EVERYONE!

KINDLY SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THE BLOG WITH EVERYONE. SHARE THIS LINK WITH WHOMEVER YOU KNOW ON FACEBOOK, WATSAPP GROUPS ETC.  IT HARDLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES. THANK YOU.

How thick is the line which draws the difference between work and life? Well, that actually depends on our notion of work and life.

Technically, 'work' is associated with tasks that involve productivity and material results. On the other hand, 'life' involves dealing with experiences and emotions. An average human cannot live without both.

We perceive work due to the deep thought that it involves very less emotion. We fail to see the passion inside. Every person has a burning desire inside. It is up to us to get that out and see the world through its eyes. Then work would appear like life.

The notion of work again arises due to confinement of oneself within an environment. The difficulty of surviving in such can be over come by creating a better work place or simply dividing a larger work task into smaller ones.

Every life activity is work. In a sense, good experiences motivate us which in turn can improve productivity. Bad experiences can either motivate more or break us down further, resulting in decreased performances. Either way it is proportional.

Life is said to be so because it is free from any hard learning. Or any course. It is living of the time. But yet we do not realize that the biggest course is life. It has more rules than any technical or arts course. Only difference is that, life does not need a text book. The world is. Its people are.

Work is not work. Life is not life. All are one and all are we.

Take Care,
Vishwas
